School or college staff may help to organise it or you might have to fix it up yourself. Usually 1 or 2 weeks in year 10, 11 or 12. They include: School or college work experience placement Some might be more useful or only available at certain points in your education or career. There are lots of different ways to get work experience.

meet new people and grow your network of contacts.learn new skills or build on those you already have.find out more about what’s involved in a job and see if it’s for you.It can help you to gain skills and decide what to do.ĭoing work experience gives you the chance to: It can be useful for career changers and people looking to get back into work. Work experience is not just for young people. Most work experience is unpaid though there are some types of opportunities where you can earn money.Ĭompanies are starting to develop 'virtual' placements, where you work remotely using digital technology, without having to go in to the workplace. I highly recommend this game and I'm excited to get back to playing.Work experience is time spent in a workplace learning about a job role, a company or a career sector. *The game auto-saves automatically every few minutes *The store has many new items to choose from *The little people who make the most amount of money in their careers are usually the ones who do not want children. *You receive 25 coins each time you complete a challenge *The music is different, several songs this time (all soothing) that play in a loop, unlike the 2 songs from the first game that while beautiful were rather sad. *Your house is WAY larger than the house in the original *There are several rooms both indoors and outdoors that need to be fixed up before they can be furnished or used. *Your little person can attend online courses for personal enrichment or take a career advancing course. *You can personalize your upgrades for each room (ex: choose the type & style of furnishings) and there are many of each style of item to choose from. THINGS THAT I NOTICED WERE DIFFERENT FROM VF1: You still pull weeds, answer e-mails, clean up the house etc. You can still buy upgrades for the house. You still have a praise and scolding glove. You still find collectibles in the yard and have challenges that are optional to meet.

They have careers and can advance in them. You still adopt your little person, they can get married and have children. But even after all that.I can't recommend this game highly enough.love my peeps!!!īETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE! A few years ago when I purchased the original Virtual Families there were things that I wished had been options in that game. I love this one, but would really love to see a third one come out with much more lifelike avatars, put the store back the way it was, add the ability to move ALL furnishings, change color schemes with more choices, give more clothing choices and be able to keep what we've already bought so we can send them to the closet to change outfits after we've bought them. I wish the designers/programmers had added the ability to add/change wall paint colors, wall paper, flooring however, what they have managed is a definite improvement over Virtual Families 1. Decorating and rearranging is one of my favorite things to do with the game.especially once you have met all the goals. My only negative is that the furniture that pre-exists cannot be moved around. In VF1 i had made the recommendation for being able to do more with the decorating as well as the peeps being able to interact with the pets.they added both and I love it. I love the addition of planning the house repairs, having new furniture, accessories, terrific items to buy for the house. The store layout/usage is much better in the the original game. I Love My New Peeps!!! This one has many improvements over the first, although I wish they had kept some of the things from the first in the second version.
